Jonathan is truly one-of-a-kind! From the very first moment, I felt like I'd known him forever. He's incredibly genuine, hilarious, and super smart—there's no one like him! His spontaneity and energy made every moment special. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, even buying pineapple late at night when I was sick and making sure I had my favorite bananas. He made me feel like I was part of his family. Jonathan is unforgettable, and I can't wait to return. He's an amazing host and a true friend! Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions :)

John an incredibly thoughtful and easygoing person, with a sharp sense of humor that made our time together enjoyable. While the place could definitely use a bit of cleaning and organizing, I really appreciated how kind and welcoming my friend was. With just a little bit of work to better organize and tidy up, would be better. If you're willing to put in some effort and help, this place has so much potential to be perfect!

Johnny was a fantastic host who made us feel at ease and did everything possible to ensure a great experience. He's smart, funny, and we enjoyed great conversations. Staying at his place gave us a real feel of the local culture, with parks nearby for walks. He also took us to local pubs, on hikes, to visit a castle, and even for a fun swim in the lake! The work was simple—mostly animal care, cleaning, and organizing—and it was easy to find time to explore the city. Overall, it was a perfect mix of work and leisure!

I really enjoyed this experience. Johnny is an incredibly kind and interesting person. He took us to do different activities such as a boat ride, visiting the castle, hiking up a mountain, ice skating, swimming in the freezing water haha. We also went to listen to live music in some pubs. He really cares about giving you a good experience, and I think he definitely succeeds. Not to mention, he also built me my own room and set up the internet there so I could work comfortably. The work is easy, and you have a lot of free time. You can go biking to the town, the lake, or the forest. Thank you!

This was our first experience, Johnny was a great host, very sociable, and offered to take us places and explore the area often. The work wasn't difficult and he was flexible about the time you would start the day. We made friends with the other volunteers and the general area is very beautiful. He took us to Newcastle(not far from the house) and brought us to pubs, so if you are interested in nightlife he is knowledgeable about it. He is a very welcoming host and try's his best to accommodate you, he has one private room and another with bunk beds. Overall the experience was fun.
