Help in our Hostel! Mix of Painting, Decorating and Basic Maintenance. You will learn how to make paint and decorate as well as some other basic maintenance with our experienced house technicians. Work in our busy hostel helping our technicians renovate and improve our venue.

I had great experience with the hostel team, considering prior experiences with the brand, I felt welcome. The chores are shifts are clear since the beginning, 3 days working x 4 days off. The city is an amazing place, the hostel is located in the center, so you can go easily wherever you want by foot/bus/train. Loved this experience and hope to return soon. The volunteers create great environment, too much memories.

Loved my experience at the hostel! Ryan and the other staff are so nice and helpful - and understand you are volunteering so are flexible with hours etc. There's not many hours of work per week and shifts are grouped together so plenty of time to explore the hostel surrounds. Only thing would be a lack of common area to meet other travellers but this wasn't really an issue with the great group of vols :)

I really enjoyed my time volunteering at the hostel! The work is easy and well organized — only 3 days a week, which gives you 4 days off to explore and relax. Breakfast is included, and the hostel is right in the city center, making it super easy to go out for walks and enjoy this incredibly beautiful city. Ryan is very kin, and the overall vibe of the hostel is great. I totally recommend this place — 100%!

This was my first volunteering experience, and I really enjoyed it! The location is great - right in the city centre, the staff is friendly, the work (painting) is relaxing, and you get a lot of free time to explore the city. I loved my time at the hostel would totally recommend it:)

Excellent location, in the centre of Edinburgh, the breakfast is quite complete, the working hours are short, there is plenty of free time to get to know the city, the volunteer room is big and comfortable, Ryan is very sociable and all the staff are very friendly, always helpful, the hostel has a bar where you can play pool, they do activities on weekends, very fun, hope to come back soon.
