A very enriching experience where you can find peace of mind on a daily basis to develop in your areas of interest. At work, we are encouraged to share our knowledge and opinions in these areas, working on group cohesion, sometimes learning from other areas such as interculturality, social awareness, sustainability... Work is more like a hobby. I've been lucky enough to have some very good colleagues, including my bosses. Braga is a beautiful city with a lot of history and social life. So are the organization's facilities.

This was an amazing experience to discover Braga and understand how to give an impact on its local society. For me it was an opportunity to learn Portuguese, and improve it by acting and helping in the elderly centers and by playing with the special kids. I am really thankful to the organization for various reasons but the main one is certainly when I had the port unity to manage some workshops based on my culture and my knowledge in the Erasmus + field. the organization gives you a lot of space to develop your own entrepreneurship skills. Braga is beautiful and the volunteers are great, but the organization and communication could improve. We usually got the schedule only the night before, which made it hard to plan personal time. I ended up doing tasks not listed in the description, like renting kayaks from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. without meals provided. The summer schedule means working over 30 hours a week, more than expected. Several volunteers mentioned it used to be better and closer to the original description. I wouldn't recommend coming in summer if you want a more balanced experience and do what the description says.

Braga is a lovely town with an authentic feeling and good restaurants. It's a great place to practice Portuguese with locals. We were 18 volunteers. The tasks included eg. playing with older people, doing crafts, and giving or attending workshops. The structure of the week was not always clear to me, and sometimes instructions were given at last minute. I felt that due to lack of information, I could not always be fully engaged in the activities and share all ideas. Potential improvements could be adding more planning sessions and dividing volunteers in even smaller groups during activities.

I had a lovely time there. It was amazing to connect with other volunteers from different nationalities and spend some time together. In addition, I also loved to work with the elder and young people they were so lovely and funny. I am gonna cherish the moments I had with them in my memory. In terms of improvement, I would say to have more structure in the project schedule and goals, but overall, it was a great experience!
