Great work - life balance! The owner Martin is a super cool guy, I felt respect and appreciated as a volunteer. Martin has great communication with the volunteers. Overall it's was a great time hanging out! I had a very relaxing and fun experience!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. Everyone was really welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the start. The communication with Martin was really easy, he always checks in to see if everything is fine, which is really reassuring. The work itself consists of a few hours of housekeeping and afterwards staying at the hostel for the rest of the day, so everything is really chill. The atmosphere was great and very homey with everyone spending the evenings together on the terrace talking and listening to music. I definitely had a great experience and would love to return one day.

The hostel is truly a place where you quickly feel at home. Sharlie and Tim are always in touch with us and they clearly explain what needs to be done. :) The work hours are flexible, and we know our schedule in advance, which consists of just a few hours of housekeeping followed by chilling at the hostel just to be available for guests. beach and town center are about a 10-minute walk , and everything you need is nearby, including a supermarket literally around the corner. I loooooove Sámara and highly recommend this experience :)

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. Working hours were transparent and well organized. We also had a lot of free time. Tim and Sharlie were very nice and helpful. Working with them is a pleasure! I highly recommend the hostel!
