The Experience

Help the street dogs of Koh Chang with us, help our street workers to feed hungry dogs . We feed countless street dogs on Koh Chang every day. You are part of our street team and go together to feed hungry street animals. You take them to the vet and help us with vaccination and castration campaigns. In short, they help our street team.

The experience was awesome, I would definitely go back! Meaw and Daw were very kind to us; thanks to them we learned so much, not only about volunteering but also about life there, including customs and sayings. Sometimes the days got a bit hectic, but that's not a complaint or anything, just so you know that no two days are alike 🩵

I wish I could find the words to truly express how life-changing this volunteering experience has been. PMaew, PDaw, PMo, PParm, and Pho are extraordinary—people who give their heart, their soul, and their entire being to everything they do. Their kindness, dedication, and warmth touched us in ways we will never forget. Thank you for welcoming us, for guiding us, and for making us feel at home. We carry you in our hearts, and we promise—we will be back

I had the most wonderful time at the project Chang! You work five days a week- the basic shift involves feeding stray dogs on a routine path on the island. On some days, we'd also rescue animals in distress or drop off/pick up animals from the vet's. The team are welcoming, patient and really fun to work with. The accommodation is very comfortable- you'd have your own bedroom and bathroom, a shared kitchen and access to a motorbike. There are five friendly dogs at the accommodation which makes it even more special. This opportunity exceeded my expectations, I hope to return one day ❤️

Beautiful dogs, people and island! I was apprehensive about the "work" but enjoyed every day of it. They provide an incredible service. The day can vary sightly; sometimes there's a dog abandoned or in distress, so we need to take them to the vet. Otherwise there's a daily routine that lasts about 2 hours (most of that time is in the truck). The team have a great sense of humour. It was important to be alert when required, but most of the time they're very playful. The house (with 5 friendly dogs) was so comfortable and having a motorbike was handy. Tip: go to Blue Haven for beach/sunset.
