I would highly recommend anyone staying in Santa Ana to volunteer here! Hana is the best—always there to help if something doesn't go as planned. I had an amazing time here, and the hostel will always feel like my home in El Salvador. The rooms you'll be staying in are well equipped with comfortable beds, and I would also say that Santa Ana is the perfect place to explore all the nearby activities, as they are no more than maybe 1.5 hours away from the city at most. A nice big supermarket is within 12 minutes, and a good pupusa place and a gym are also just 5 minutes from the hostel.

My experience at the hostel with the staff was great! (So great that I ended up asking to extend my stay for a few more days). I worked both at reception and at the bar, and both were super easygoing. Thank you so much everyone!!!

This was my favorite volunteering-trip so far! The people at this hostel are the sweetest and funniest you will meet. I loved working at the bar and talking to the locals and others. And the schedule was very good and you had a lot of free time to explore around. I had an amazing time here and hope to come back sometime to meet everyone again. I only stayed for two weeks but wish I could have stayed for longer. Thank you so much for my time here!

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. Originally, I was supposed to only stay for 10 days but I ended up staying almost 2 months. The staff is small but so incredibly kind and welcoming. The work (reception) is very relaxed. The property is absolutely beautiful, its a hidden gem. Since its not in the center is not too crowded but the place would benefit from a community manager because it deserves all the attention and praise. Also the volunteering should include cleaning since the place is huge and there's only one cleaning lady. I would definitely recommend and come back

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. The work at the reception is an easy task, just waiting for check-ins and the hours are very fair. Santa Ana is a great starting location for a lot of activities and you're able to do sight seeing before you have to work. You'd also be able to go to the beach on your days off. The people living there made the experience special. Even though the Hostel isn't in the Center you're easily able to reach it by cheap uber or bus.
