Damiano is a superhost. He's kind, respectful, smart, and a great person to talk to about many topics. We immediately felt comfortable together. His house is cozy, and the room and bathroom where I stayed were spacious, comfortable, and always allowed me to maintain my privacy. The time we spent together was amazing. I highly recommend him to all Worldpackers!

My experience with Damiano was excellent. He's very welcoming and makes sure you feel at home. He cooked delicious traditional Sicilian meals and took me to visit nearby towns, sharing great travel tips. As a woman traveling solo, I felt safe staying there, as he lives alone. The work mainly involves house cleaning and is easy and relaxed, with fair hours. The volunteering is in Sferracavallo, about 30 minutes from Palermo by train, with beautiful beaches nearby also by train or bus. Sicily is stunning—one of the most mesmerizing places I've visited. I highly recommend this volunteering

An excellent experience! . Damiano was incredibly kind, respectful, and always attentive. He goes out of his way to help you discover the best places in Sicily. It's great opportunity for anyone who's just starting to learn Italian. And for those interested in arts and history, it's definitely an experience you'll enjoy too. I'm truly grateful for the stay and the whole experience!

I had a fantastic first Worldpackers experience in Palermo! Damiano was incredibly accommodating and always made sure I had everything I needed. The work was easy, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. I truly appreciated his generosity - whether it was checking in on me or taking me to explore nearby places. The location is great - Sferracavallo is close to the city center, the train station is less than 10 minutes away, and the beach offers stunning sunsets. Plus, getting around Sicily is easy with buses and trains. Overall, a wonderful experience which I highly recommend!

My first experience in Sicily with WP was incredible! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and at home with Damiano. His spacious three-story house in Sferracavallo offers a private room and bathroom, just 8 minutes from the sea and a short train ride to Palermo. Work was light—cleaning, cooking, and gardening—with plenty of free time to explore. Damiano is kind, easygoing, and attentive. He taught me many Italian recipes. This is a perfect experience for nature lovers and anyone wanting to enjoy Sicilian culture, food, and hospitality. Highly recommend!
