The Experience
El 1 de diciembre abrimos las puertas del Hotel. El hotel está a 30 minutos en carro de Santa Marta, en un paraíso natural, rodeado de naturaleza, con acceso a la playa. Estamos construyendo nuestro huerto para tener nuestros propios alimentos. Somos un hotel que cuida y ama la naturaleza y los animales, nos encantaría poder contar con personas que tengan estos mismos valores y quieran ayudarnos en esta tarea.

This was a great experience with a beautiful location, however, this we think company is not quite ready for English teachers. We were told on arrival how excited they were to have us and for everyone to learn English. We are not sure what was being communicated to the staff, but there was low numbers of attendance throughout which was a shame. We think this could work a lot better with some more transparency and organisation in general. Overall the place was beautiful and we are grateful for the experience!

La experiencia en este voluntariado fue muy buena, es un lugar muy hermoso y tranquilo, que te abraza desde el primer día, que llegas, tiene una energía muy fuerte. Las personas del lugar son personas llenas de alegría, la comida es muy deliciosa y nutritiva, la habitación era muy cómoda y reconfortante. En cuanto al trabajo de jardinería que fue nuestra labor en este tiempo sabemos que pueden mejorar algunas cosas como: tener más claridad en lo que se quiere realizar, tener más liderazgo, tener claras las tareas y asignarlas de manera coherente a lo acordado.

La experiencia en Santuario, el alojamiento fue fuera de serie, espectacular! El lugar es un paraíso real donde prima en descanso y la buena energía. Los chicos del staff son super amorosos, realmente me sentí en familia. Las tareas siempre fueron las acordadas, y sobretodo valoro mucho el cumplimiento de las horas. La alimentación, tanto el desayuno como el almuerzo, que es lo que incluye el voluntario, fue excelente. Tan hermosa fue la experiencia que venía por un mes y me quedé dos. Súper recomiendo este lugar 💖
