Volunteering with the hostel was an incredible experience! The work was fun and easy, and each shift brought something new. Leading guests around London was my favorite part as you get to interact with people who've traveled from all over and learn about varying cultures and personalities. The management is fantastic. James made sure all of our needs and wants were met, and I felt completely at ease when approaching him with concerns or questions. The level of involvement he has makes him a part of the family, all the staff adore him for good reason. If you're considering applying here, do it!

Best volunteering I've had so far and for sure will be on top list forever. I felt truly welcomed from day one. The hosts are kind, organized, respectful and great persons. The tasks were fair and fun, with lots of free time to explore London, the vibe was amazing, and I had a great time with everyone. During my stay at the hostel Notting Hill I have learned and met excellent people, the shifts are all very interesting, except for the night shift which consists of working all night but I understand that it is necessary and important. Given the high prices in London, the opportunity to volunteer here and the benefits that the hostel offers is very much appreciated. Most of the staff is very collaborative. I would have liked to have more activity tours as that is what I feel I am good at. All in all, I have great friendships and many anecdotes at the hostel Notting Hill.

Beautiful people, great place and incredible energy, just I need to say thank you for all to James, Meg and my indian crew, you are awesome and I will always have you in my mind when I will remember London. What I can say? This place rocks and you need to know this is the best hostel in England and maybe UK so you will come to the coolest place. Just enjoy the ride. When I heard about the hostel from a friend, I had awesome references. I volunteered for one month and I just can say that It was the best experience I had in my life. The energy in the hostel is awesome, I could mention name by name, but I don't have characteres enough to mention everyone. Everyone is always open to talk and help if you're struggling with something, James and Meg deal with the team and the environment really well which made me understand why this is the best hostel in England
