The Experience

Support the bar team during shifts (help with glasses, cleaning tables/kitchen, stocking fridge/bar, serve guest). Shifts can be morning, afternoon, or evening/night Assist in welcoming and engaging with guests during events and activities. Help set up and clean up before/after events (e.g. quiz nights, karaoke, DJ nights). Promote the hostel's social atmosphere by encouraging guest participation.

My experience at Down Town Hostel was amazing. I spent two months there and my job was to keep guest entertained with games and events organized by the hostel. It was a great way to challenge myself and most importantly, have a lot of fun. The people i met there ( both guest , host and coworkers) were super welcoming and friendly. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone Who wants to step out of their comfort zone and enjoy a lively experience full of parties and good vibes. The only downside is that food Isn't included so you need to consider the cost of groceries.

I had the Absolute best time at the hostel, it's such a good experience and a great way to meet other travelers aswell as learn skills behind the bar. Will definitely miss this place and would love to go back.

It was my first experience as a volunteer and I really liked it. Everyone was so nice and caring. It's a good opportunity to learn and work in a bar. We have one drink after each shift, there's a pool and the hostel is located in the center of Copenhagen so it's perfect. I think it's the best place to meet people !!! Thank you to all the team :)
