I had a nice experience at the shelter. Working with the dogs and cats was amazing and made a lot of fun. Also the amount of work is not that much and the tasks are easy. You have a lot of free time and can explore the beautiful island. The people I worked with were really friendly and kind. I would recommend it if you love animals and if you don't mind very simple accommodation.

I had a great experience during my volunteering. At first, I had some difficulties with communication, but fortunately, the situation improved, we found a great understanding, and I was treated like part of the family. The staff was very kind and helpful, often offering me extra meals like lunch and dinner. The facility was welcoming, and my roommates were very nice. The workload is not excessive, and tasks are provided clearly on a daily basis. Overall, it was a very positive experience!

This stay didn't meet my expectations. Volunteers shared rooms with non-volunteers, the kitchen was poorly equipped, and some of my belongings were stolen. We also had to pay for water and coffee with no discounts. I wouldn't recommend this experience.

The whole experience of getting help make a difference to these dogs lives was amazing. I was very welcomed by the lovely Filipino couple who you live on site at the animal shelter with and you have plenty of free time to explore too! The work wasn't hard- feeding the cats and dogs at 9am and then again at 4pm, with some cleaning and giving medicines in the morning too. As much as I did enjoy this experience and would recommend you to volunteer here, I do think 1 week is enough. The living conditions were fine but could be improved and made more sanitary since you're are living onsite

Overall, this has been a very special experience, jemila and johnchris are very kind and friendly, the work itself isn't hard and you have planty of time to go out, explore and enjoy malpascua. However the conditions are not as mentioned in the app, there is no WiFi and no breakfast. If you love dogs and really want to affect the cute doggos of the island this is for you
