This experience was quite disappointing to me. The managers Miller and Jose were extremely rude to staff and volunteers and constantly made us feel unwelcome. Even worse, the pictures are misleading, you stay at a different location which is the manager's house and upon arrival the place was extremely dirty, full of spiderwebs, animal poo in the cabinets and moho. What they expect of the volunteers is a more an intership than the Worldpackers experience. The hotel is beautiful but you feel extremely conditioned there. Overall I would not recommend this place.

Hi Camila. There were no pics of the staff house when you applied because we were still building our page, but there was a description. And we do now have photos of the staff house, which is cleaned professionally once a week at no cost to volunteers. While we are not an intership, we are a work-exchange, so we do expect volunteers to do some work (3 shifts per week). Regarding how you felt treated, we are restructuring our internal management to ensure the issues you mention don’t recur.
