My time at the hostel was amazing! The island is such a nice place to spend a few weeks, and the managers Claudia and Lexy were so great! The hostel itself is very nice and provides lots of opportunities to meet other travelers and volunteers, and the hostel staff is incredible. ❤️

This is honestly such an amazing place to volunteer. Everything is incredibly structured and organized. The hosts are amazing and communicate clearly. the hostel T is definitely a more party orientated island but it also has an as big chill side too. The hostel is in between a chill and party hostel, making it extremely social. You meet the most wholesome people here. The "work" does not feel like work at all, is very short in hours and the hosts definitely understand that volunteering should be fun and not exploiting.

I absolutely loved my experience at the hostel, the manager Lexy was amazing very approachable and could tell she loves what she does and has put a lot of effort into the volunteer program to make us comfortable , the staff and other volunteers were very welcoming and always smiling and the overall energy of the hostel was fun and vibrant really felt at home here! The facilities also really good, beds super comfortable and food and cocktails were amazing and so close to the beach a beautiful location! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to volunteer I would even come back!

My second time volunteering at the hostel has been wonderful. The team and local staff feel like a family and once more I have made lots of friends from around the world. The shifts and tasks are simple and generally lots of fun. And of course, I was able to enjoy the beautiful hostel facilities and island location.

I've volunteered at both locations now at the hostel on the hostel T the hostel. My time on the hostel was a chill vibe with a good balance of partying. Lexy the manager on the hostel was great to work with. I couldn't recommend the hostel TurtIe on both of the islands enough. If you are unsure on about volunteering, the hostel TurtIe is a good place to start, they are so welcoming and just brilliant to volunteer for.
