I had an awesome time staying here! Roy was honestly the nicest guy — super respectful and just genuinely good vibes all around. He made me feel really welcome. The area is super quiet which was perfect for recharging and enjoying some peace. If you ever get tired of all that calm, Cork is really close and easy to get to. I felt completely comfortable the whole time, and honestly kind of didn't want to leave. Highly recommend if you're looking for a chill spot with a great host and a good balance of rest and adventure.

As someone who genuinely appreciates and loves nature, I considered it was a beautiful experience to be in contact with it. Regarding the qualities of the host, he is a kind, adaptable, caring, and respectful person, who values and respects the environment and animals. He was so helpful with myself, and I am really thankful for this opportunity. Considering his evident passion and love to this wonderful project, I sincerely hope he stays running it, and continue with expansion. It was wonderful to know this project into a lovely farm. The dogs are so adorable. Wishing the best!

First the property is just stunning, I didn't even want to explore the area when the farm is so beautiful. Roy is so kind and accommodating and runs a great experience for the guests. The actual work was super easy and quick so there is plenty of time to rest. Although the place is remote, the bus is only a 20 minute walk to get to the city. Really recommend if you want a peaceful escape and a look into the Irish countryside in Cork.

Roy was extremely kind and welcoming. Work was easy and could be done within an hour each day then you have the full day to yourself. He would collect me from the bus almost everyday of my trip and was very kind. The farm was amazing especially the dogs and there is so much farmland around the area that its amazing to see all the cows, lambs, and chickens. A truly amazing experience

I stayed with Roy for a week and don't have a single bad thing to say about him or the stay. He was very respectful and it was clear he wants his volunteers to enjoy the stay. The work was not hard and Roy gave clear instructions. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the dogs, the hens, the company. I felt right at home and would always recommend the experience!
