This experience is great for gaining experience in restaurant work, and to interact with people from all over the world! We provide a variety of traditional foods which you can learn to prepare. Volunteering at our Soda provides a unique opportunity to be integrated into the local community by living with a local family, and to practice Spanish if you like!

A special thanks to Michael and Osmara, both are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always made sure I had a great time. You'll spend a good amount of time at the office, which I personally loved – the guides are fun, warm-hearted, and always up for a good conversation. You get to join many tours, and you're encouraged to contribute your own ideas. I am grateful for the time I spent as a social media volunteer at the host. Michael is a supportive, generous, and kind host. The meals were delicious and they had vegan options! Plus, there are a few close shops for snacks. The town is small, but there are many cool places you can take trips to on your days off. All the staff are high spirited, nice, and fun to be around.

Volunteering at La Leona Waterfall was an unforgettable experience! I worked on social media, filming and editing videos of the tours, nature, and adventures like tubing, even using my drone for content. I also helped with the website. The team and locals were incredibly kind, the food was great, and the room was comfortable. Mickael was always available if we needed anything. The breathtaking landscapes and welcoming atmosphere made this experience truly special. I highly recommend it!

We definitely recommend the experience at the host. Michael is a very dedicated host and super kind, as well as the people in Curubandé. The accommodation is basic but comfortable and the meals are yummy. Regarding work we had a very easy and fun job, although it was kind of different to what we expected. Other than that really nice vibes and people at the host!
