This was my first ever time doing a volunteer program and this was genuinely an exceptional start! Chinola & Ronald really make the hostel feel like you are living at home away from home. The environment is very relaxing and not stressful. Las Terrenas is also such a beautiful and homey town tucked away in Samana. The central location of the hostel also allows it to be very easy to walk to nearby stores and restaurants. All in all 10/10 experience! Please check them out!

From the time I arrived, Chinola worked to make me feel welcomed. It was clear that she cared about my experience beyond what I contributed as a volunteer. I loved getting to know the other volunteers and the whole the hostel crew. At the hostel it was easy to find friends to spend time with and go out with. The working schedule was clearly communicated and followed. If there was something we really wanted to do that interfered with our assigned shifts, we could talk to Chinola and the other volunteers in order to do so. I spent a month there but wish I could have extended my visit for longer x

Los hosts son gente maravillosa. Los turnos de trabajo muy claros y el resto del tiempo es libre para ti, también puedes cambiar turnos si lo necesitas con otros compañeros. Hay bastante movimiento en el hostel y gente joven. La ciudad es un caos, pero el hostel esta situado un poquito atrás de la calle, pero céntrico, donde hay un poco de tranquilidad y tienes acceso rápido a todos lados. Se quedan con un trocito de mi corazón, volveré sin duda!

No tengo mucha experiencia en los voluntariados, pero sé realmente que mi experiencia aquí ha sido increíble y no porque sea mi primer voluntariado sino porque Ronald y Chinola han hecho un trabajo excelente con su el hostel. Uno se siente entre familia, de tal manera que cuando llega el último día ya no se quiere marchar. Muchísimas gracias por hacer esto posible, es de las mejores experiencias que he vivido en la vida y sin duda quiero volver a repetir.

La esperienza en el hostel fue una de las mejores de mi vida. Los anfitriones Chinola y Ronald te hacen sentir como partes de una familia por su manera de vivir la vida y disfrutar de lo que hacen. El Hostel mismo es un lugar perfecto para conectar con gente de todo el mundo que a veces se quedan más tiempo de lo que planeaban. Disfruté mucho la ciudad y la vibra de las Terrenas y hacía amistades inolvidables. Solo puedo contar algo bueno sobre ese lugar y ese Hostel porque todo para mí fue maravilloso.
