The Experience
We are excited to offer a wonderful experience with our horses in coliving. We are looking for people who want to learn or improve their riding capabilities or only experience beautiful therapy with our rescued horses. We live in the mountain of Galicia in a Reserve of Biosphere. Close to the border with Portugal. We need your support but at the same time, we want you learn with us and our gentle horses. This was a great experience; the work was easy, mainly feeding the horses morning and night, with the occasional help during kids lessons. Riding through the mountains was magical and my highlight, alongside dog walks, hot springs, and the peaceful setting. The house is cozy with good facilities, though cold and not soundproof, so bring warm clothes and earplugs. While the horses and healthy and happy, i did witness moments of impatience, rough handling, and students using harsh aids without correction, all of which did not align with my values. It's a beautiful place i will miss!!

My experience at the farm was nothing short of amazing! Claudia and Luisa are very funny and made me feel right at home. The work was very easy, and there was well enough time to relax. I loved going to the restaurant, on walks, at the springs and spending time with everyone (and the animals ofc). Hope to be back soon !!

My stay at the farm was absolutely perfect, I felt at home right from the start ! I loved Luisa's cooking, going karting with Ella, screaming in the car with Claudia and bond with the others volunteers. The horses, dogs and cat were so lovely and I miss them already. Galloping in the nature and taking the dogs on hikes were my favorite activities. Thank you to these wonderful people for making the last month and an half a blast ! I can't wait to come back :)

What a delightful 2 weeks at the farm that flew by! If you're looking for being active in nature, connecting with horses/dogs/cats, and kind people and volunteers, all amongst a backdrop of beautiful countryside, don't hesitate to apply! My highlight was being with all the lovely people here --Luisa, Claudia, Ella, Tamara keep on rockin'! 😄Galloping trails, art, workouts, day trips, bbq, Chispa! There's so much heart in the running of the ranch and art/coworking space! Big thanks for showing me the ropes and including the volunteers in daily Galician life! Hope to be back soon 😁

I had a wonderful stay at the ranch! Claudia and Luisa make sure you have the best time during your stay and they do such important work with the horses. I absolutely enjoyed every moment with the horses and the trail rides were amazing! We also went on some great trips — like to Portugal and the hot springs. I got to know so many nice people in the nearby villages and felt so welcome everywhere. Just an amazing experience!!
