The experience in Toddyland was fantastic, there isn't much work to do so it's a great opportunity to experience a cultural exchange and stay with family but you are also free to explore the nearby areas! We also took part in English lessons for children and played with them and it was a lot of fun! Anoj and the home took us to different places, cooked traditional dishes for us and we got to see how they were prepared and helped make them too :) The smiles of the whole family and the village will warm your heart 💗

This place is absolutely amazing. When I arrived the home and Anoj welcomed me with the biggest kindness and warmth. They took us to several places and always made us the most delicious local foods. If we had any questions about anything, they were really helpful and alway provided an answer. I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to feel welcomed and is looking for a peaceful place to stay.

The stay at the home's place was very peaceful. Right from the beginning we felt welcomed and cared for. Although there wasn't much work for us, there were a lot of places that we could explore. There is a beautiful nearby river that we swam in and just chilled. We have visited Hatton and did a stage of pekoe trail. the home and Anoj took us to the home factory and to the temple. The week was full of new perceptions which we will never forget. I am already missing the home's delicious food. Also playing shit head with a volunteer Lilli in rainy days and of course playing with kitten Fiona.

We stayed at the home's home for a week, that was filled with peacefulness, exploration of surrounding towns, temples, nature and a the home factory as well. Even though the weather was sometimes challenging and there wasn't that much work to do, the home always came up with an idea or a plan, so we're never bored. We can't thank her enough for her hospitality, great cuisine and the introduction of Sri Lankan culture, agriculture and religion. Overall we had a great time and we can only recccomend this stay <3.
