Are you passionate about connecting with people and creating unforgettable experiences? Join us as a Social Volunteer and be part of our exciting, welcoming and dynamic hostel in Gran Canaria where you'll lead city tours, outdoor activities and social events for our guests! Exploring a beautiful island and meeting great people along the way. You would be part of a 6 person volunteer team so would have the chance to share the experience.

I had a great time at the hostel. For anyone going in as the social volunteer/event planner, it's a lot of fun. You get to make your own schedule as long as you put in enough hours and run the expected amount of events. But you can do whatever strikes your interest. the hostel Bar is so much fun to run, there are so many excursions to go on throughout the island, there is never a shortage of things to do to keep yourself, the other volunteers, and the guests entertained! (If anyone who gets the role needs any pointers, feel free to reach out to me!)

I had a really good experience volunteering at the hostel in Las Palmas. I worked with the apartments housekeeping team; the work was straightforward and well organised, with clear guidance and support when needed. Hours were respected and expectations were fair. Volunteering over Christmas was fun and sociable. Many thanks and best wishes to the team at both the hostel and its sister hostel Jungle. I can definitely recommend volunteering here!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel :) I stayed here for a month and lowkey wish that I would've stayed longer. Alessia is a great manager who cares for the volunteers' and guests' needs!! This hostel is also the most social hostel I've ever been to, so there was never any awkward silence as you were always talking to somebody :) It really was a pleasure to organize the hostels events and getting to meet so so many people from all over the world. All in all, my experience, especially towards the end, was amazing and I definitely would love to do it again sometime :)

I really enjoyed staying in the hostel! The other volunteers were super nice and we had a great time together. The working hours are always respected and the work wasn't difficult to do. There was plenty of time to explore the island and especially the old town where the hostel is located. I am very happy that I chose the hostel to be my first volunteer experience!
