The Experience

The main goal of us receiving volunteers is to start driving tourism into our village which is in Ngawi, East Java. The most popular village is Girikerto village. We need help from volunteers to take good photos, manage social media & help to drive tourism into our village. You will stay at the local homestay to enhance your local experience. You may reach here via train to Walikukun station OR Ngawi station. We are 4 hours away from Yogyakarta

My stay in the home was the best experience I have had through this platform. I felt so welcomed in as part of the community from the moment I arrived and through my week here. Everyone is very friendly and works as a community. As a solo female traveler I have never felt safer. This is a very special little place in the middle of the mountains and I highly recommend making the journey.
