My experience at this volunteer was truly healing and transformative. Being surrounded by nature every day, spending time with the horse and connecting with such kind hearted people created the perfect space for me to focus on my mental health and personal growth. It felt like a retreat where i could slow down, reconnect with myself and enjoy the simple but meaningful rhythm of life. The atmosphere here is calm and welcoming, with no pressure, just good energy and a supportive environment. Joe is an open minded and generous host who genuinely cares about his volunteers, making you feel at home

Beautiful nature and good opportunity to learn about farm life! Nice experience living in a tent and now I know how to cut the grass! 😂 Local life around, which is nice. And for me it was nice to meet with other lovely volunteers ✨ Thank you!

Joe created a free environment, no real structure, no schedule, it lacked the communication of some expectations. I liked the freedom of autonomy - that I could choose when to wake up. We went to waterfalls together and had nights of talks with his girlfriend. He was also nice to lend me his bike to practice riding it since i cannot drive. I helped him with the improving of his camp site project like mowing the grass real short, building steps as stairs and the usual cleaning. He is very reserved but friendly. Though, I felt excluded and alone sometimes. I felt more welcomed by his gf

I spent a few days at the home. The campsite is in a lovely spot, with a magnificent view on the Hills. It's under development but has everything you need. Guests can sleep in one of the tents, make sure you have warm clothes for the night! Joe is a very nice and welcoming guy, he is carrying out a big project and I am happy to have shared part of the process with him. He told me a lot about the local culture. Have bike or a motorbike it's the best option to explore the area during your free time. I had not, but Joe was very kind and accompanied me to the city tò buy some food :)

Joe made me feel welcomed the first second we met! I truly enjoyed my experience there, even though I had to leave after one day because of an incident in my family. But he was very supportive and the one day I was able to work with him was amazing! I wish I could have stayed longer and if I am ever back in Pai, I will definetely come here again! Thank you for everything!!
