The experience

We’re a laid-back, community-focused hotel in beautiful Playa Gigante, looking for someone with a passion for hospitality and an eye for detail. As our Guest Relations & Hotel Operations Guru, you’ll dive into the day-to-day flow of hotel life, whether it’s greeting guests with a warm smile, organizing epic surf trips, or brainstorming new dish ideas with our talented kitchen team.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Requirements

Beginner English and Intermediate Spanish

Over 21 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Your Role Will Include:

- Checking Guests in with Cloudbeds
- Welcoming and assisting guests with a friendly, personal touch.
- Organizing surf trips, boat excursions, and local adventures.
- Collaborating with our kitchen team on fresh ideas for new dishes.
- Keeping a keen eye on day-to-day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Bringing a balance of laid-back vibes and attention to detail.


Activities & Shift

What We’re Looking For:

- Someone who loves hospitality and thrives in a casual yet professional environment.
- A knack for creating unforgettable guest experiences.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and a “can-do” attitude.
- Enthusiasm for surf, ocean life, and local culture.
- Previous hotel or guest relations experience is a plus, but passion and personality are - key!
- At least about 5 weeks commitment.
