Hostal the hostel is the perfect place to put down your backpack for a while. Tainá, the host, will welcome you with open arms, making you feel right at home. The missions aren't complicated, and the schedules are flexible. All I can tell you is that I loved this volunteering experience and I think it's definitely worth checking out. For those of you like me who want to travel differently, improve your BR Portuguese, and discover places far from the usual tourist routes! Esse foi meu primeiro voluntariado e não poderia ter pedido experiência melhor! Tainá é um amor de pessoa, acolhedora e faz questão de incluir a gente nas atividades que rola na cidade. As tarefas são simples e bem divididas, e por isso consegui aproveitar muito a cidade. O Hostel é pertinho de tudo, aliás em Canoa, tudo é perto. O Romeu e a Tokio são os doguinhos que dão o charme especial durante a estadia. Recomendo de olhos fechados o hostel para fazer voluntariado, estou indo embora com o coração quentinho e cheio de gratidão ❤️

Voluntariar no hostel foi ótimo! O hostel é super bem localizado, pertinho de tudo, e ainda tem uma vista linda. Há um manual das tarefas e tudo é explicado direitinho. As atividades são tranquilas, bem divididas e é nada sobrecarregado. Fui muito bem recebida pela Taina, ela é super gente boa, cuidadosa, organizada, uma ótima companhia, de quem acabei me tornando amiga! Além disso, Canoa é linda, tranquila e segura para mulheres que viajam sozinhas e é impossível não se envolver com a cultura local. Sentirei saudades e espero voltar em breve :)
