This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was a fantastic start to my journey. I had a truly wonderful stay here and the hosts, Sanya and Nuch, were fantastic! I was there for two weeks and roughly did about 4 days worth of teaching English, the kids there were wonderful and so invested and excited about learning! This is a great opportunity to meet the locals and truly immerse yourself in the local culture! During one of the weekends, Nuch offered to take me into the city to stay at her home and sell ice creams in the local night market, which was a great and unique experience!

This is my second time here, and I really like it. The team consists of super friendly people who were very enthusiastic about sharing their experiences with me. I spent a lot of time in the mountains, explored caves, and was often out and about with the locals. In my opinion, it was a great experience. On the other hand, as a volunteer here, some requirements should be met. You should be flexible regarding your sleeping situation, actively integrate yourself, and have a passion for exploring and hiking.

I stayed in the village for 3 weeks. It was really great. They welcomed me and it really felt like home. I was assigned a variety of tasks that I think were quite interesting and fullfiling. I made long lasting friendships . I got to experience the culture through the locals who were beyond friendly. I really wish for them to contiinue with this volunteering project and that more international volunteers come and be part of this wonderful community.

I felt very welcomed here, the community and the team are incredibly warm-hearted people. I've experienced and received so much more than I expected, from breathtaking mountain tours to exploring local caves. During my stay, I made many new friends, though I taught less than initially planned. Some of the 20 weekly hours didn't happen due to events or festivities. Overall, I would love to come back.
