My stay with Max, his dogs and a group of wonderfull people was just amazing. Yes there is a lot of work to be done every day but the social contact, home made food and Tuscany nature all around the place more than makes up for the sometimes hard work. Max showed and explained every task that had to be done so there was no confusion. Every possible problem was resolved calmely in a constructive maner. It is wonderful to see how much Max cares about all of his animals and the environment. For the time I spent at Maxes farm I felt like I found a new home in the middle of a Tuscany forrest.

Had an amazing week here! I had the chance to do different tasks everyday and through the process, learn so much about growing your own food. The accommodation was cosy and it was nice sharing meals with Max and other volunteers over meal times in the common spaces which always had a warm atmosphere. Max also has four of the friendliest dogs who are such great company! Overall a great getaway for reconnecting with nature and learning more about permaculture.

I loved my stay at the project. Max is an incredibly nice guy and a great host. We had a lot of fun together. He taught us everything we needed to know and got into detail so we'd fully understand. He'd always played Musik during work so it was more fun. There was always enough delicious food though breakfast could maybe be a bit improved. I really enjoyed my stay, it is hard but fun work and you'll have a cozy place to stay. I felt welcomed the first second I met him, seriously recommend!

The experience at the project eco-village was incredible; Max taught me many new things. I learned how to take care of chickens and ducks (who are free to roam in the open fields), how to chop wood and cut branches, how to give the right nutrients to the soil and plants. We also created fruit preserves and delicious jams. Max teaches very carefully everything in detail, but then also gives the volunteers great autonomy, which I really appreciated. He is a very fun guy and you will pass wonderful time at the project farm. It's also a great opportunity to learn about permaculture and nature!
