When we arrived the crazy and lovely four dogs instantly greeted us. We got time to adapt before deeply diving into the work. The tasks had a good variation but were also pretty exhausting sometimes (which I Kinda like though). I met very nice people and learned a lot from them. So it is also very good for social development. It all somehow felt like a small family. The one thing that I didn't like is the City being 30 mins away + a very tough road, which is very bumpy with a normal car. And I would not recommend it to people who are intimidated/scared by dogs ( i loved it)

The project is a place built out of conviction and heart, we loved our stay here. Even though the work was hard, cooking dinner with everyone and having random, deep, funny conversations made it worth. This is the place to fall in love with permaculture and really understand it, but also to have the best Italian experience, Max is truly a special kind person, we are grateful this was our first experience and we hope to come back soon. Ps. The food is the best. Taaaaac!

This was my first experience and it was amazing, max is a great person, very funny. We stayed for a moth and learned a lot such as Permaculture, cooking, gardening, harvesting, transplanting, etc (you never stop learning). I felt very comfortable during the whole stay. It's such a great protect, I'm so thankful with Max and all the volunteers I met. The food was awesomeee, true Italian cuisine.

My stay with Max, his dogs and a group of wonderfull people was just amazing. Yes there is a lot of work to be done every day but the social contact, home made food and Tuscany nature all around the place more than makes up for the sometimes hard work. Max showed and explained every task that had to be done so there was no confusion. Every possible problem was resolved calmely in a constructive maner. It is wonderful to see how much Max cares about all of his animals and the environment. For the time I spent at Maxes farm I felt like I found a new home in the middle of a Tuscany forrest.

Had an amazing week here! I had the chance to do different tasks everyday and through the process, learn so much about growing your own food. The accommodation was cosy and it was nice sharing meals with Max and other volunteers over meal times in the common spaces which always had a warm atmosphere. Max also has four of the friendliest dogs who are such great company! Overall a great getaway for reconnecting with nature and learning more about permaculture.
