The Experience

This is a community environment with amazing neighbours, guests and a welcoming team. We host workshops while we grow our vegetable garden following permaculture principles. We have been working in the house renovation for 2y and it's now a Learning and Regeneration center able to host 20 people. We need help to continue the renovation, to take care of the house and the animals, and plant more in our vegetable garden!

I recommend this place to individuals who like community living and who speak Portuguese or Spanish and English for easy communication. The living space is comfortable and the food provided is good, they can meet your needs even if you are vegan. The tasks are varied by day, I helped building a bunk bed, taking care of the chickens, cutting ivy, planting, cooking and weeding. You have planty of opportunities to socialise since this is a community place and workshops take place here often, you can meet locals and internationals as well. Ines is kind and helpful.

Staying with Ines and Simone was lovely! The house is big and interesting, and the vibe was always collaborative, kind and friendly, like family . We learnt so much with them, not only about working with land but also about growing and working with the community and neighbours. We met so many amazing and interesting people. A very holistic experience!
