My experience at the hostel was very nice and enriching. Tijuca is a quiet and residential neighbourhood, that allowed me to get to know the culture better and improve my Portuguese since it is not very touristy, the good thing is that it is well connected to easily reach the centre and beaches. The schedule was respected and the tasks are easy but the best thing was meeting really nice people! Thank you very much to Rodrigo, Reinaldo and especially to Eli for a warm welcome! I wish you all the best ✨🫶🏽 Obrigadaaa

The experience was enriching overall! The host is very chill and easygoing. Training is brief, so most tasks are learned through hands-on experience. The place is decent, though some simple improvements aren't prioritized, and leadership could pay closer attention, since volunteers often figure things out themselves. Location isn't near the beach or South Zone, but it's in a good neighborhood with subway, buses, markets, and bars. Best of all, I made unforgettable friends I still keep in touch with! If you want a challenge and an adventure in a local setting, that's the place to go :)

I had a great time at the home! Highlights: -It's close from the metro station -They are very efficient with providing food for breakfast (And also ingredients so volunteers can bake cakes for the staff) -The tasks are simple because there's also a cleaning lady who does the hard job but also need all the collaboration you can provide. -3 days off -The hosts are flexible, comprehensive, respectful and tolerant which is hard to find sometimes. For you, next volunteer: This is a young hostel, so, any extra love for the place will be always appreciated!

Im doing 1 more tour in the home and still enjoying every moment , time is passing smoothly with all friendly volunteers and all staff. You must check the home if you traveling Rio and looking for a cool place. Highly recommended. Thanks everyone

My home in Rio, I feel lucky to be part of the home. It's a small family here...from the first day I felt as one of them. Really friendly and helpfull volunteers. Ready to help for any questions. Tasks are just liked mentioned and easy to do. I loved my stay and extended.
