The Experience

We work with different group of farmer and help them to grow organic using compost and train them how to make it in a sustainable way. We will need your help to manage the garden, learn about composting & maybe help out with some workshop or project tour. I had an incredible experience. the project is a small haven of peace in the jungle isolated from traffic. I was living in my own wooden cabin with my bathroom. kadek, the owner, is so kind and helpful, he learned how to grow fruits and vegetables and he teaches it to other people to creates jobs and help people. I worked in the garden or at his home with his family to prepare orders. everyone was so nice to me, they gave me cake and a pineapple from the garden. thank you very much Kadek, I hope to come back next year

The project was really nice. They made sure to take advantage of process that could be much more damaging for the environment, to transform it in something good. The staff is really nice, some of them don't speak that much English but it's not a barrier to make a good teamwork. What I didn't like was that I didn't had basic conditions for living in there. I knew that I had to use a tent, and that is fine for me (I've done it before just for fun), but they gave me JUST the tent. No pillow, no couch, no blanket. I had a really bad night and runned away as soon as I could. General poor condition

Its good you have a tent. I was volunteering in pillipiness last year, there is no bed, no blanket, no pillow ,sleeping on the wooden floor with no wall and very clod and windy at night, no food ,no toilet, no lamp but i uave my phone to get light, i climbed a coconut treeto get water and coco meat for 2 week. No rice no bread but im happy to help them to build mudd house, working in the garden, this is my challenge, my experience and more close to nature. At the end its changed my way of life.
