I had an incredible experience at a&o! Both the city and the accommodation far exceeded my expectations. The tasks were super manageable, partly thanks to the helpful staff and friendly guests . Honestly, my favorite part of the experience was connecting with people from all over the world and getting to know at least a small part of their stories As for the city, Vienna is packed with history and absolutely stunning to look at. And let's not forget—it's home to the best cafés in the world So, if u r looking to meet new people while diving into the local culture, make sure to check out a&o!

It's a big company and they are new with volunteers. Despite the host, it was a good experience. He was fired in my second week, so probably things have gone better since then. The group of volunteers is small, but you can work with different groups of people every day. The food is good, sometimes you have 3 meals daily, but others just breakfast. It's random cause depends on the guests.

What an amazing experience I had at a&o! The hostel conditions are great, the food delicious and it's located next to the main train station, making it easy to move around the city and explore other countries. The thing I loved most about the hostel is how young and international the team is. The reception/bar staff were simply amazing and I had the best time working with them. Schedules were respected and shifts were super fun (best part of my stay). If you're looking for a place to make lifelong connections, this is the one! It exceeded all my expectations and I couldn't recommend it more!

My experience at A&the hostel was amazing! The working hours were not too demanding and were incredibly fun. I helped out at the bar and reception, and sometimes i stayed longer just because i wanted too! The hostel itself is very welcoming, with various games and good food. I met so many international people, including guests, other volunteers, and staff members, all of them were super friendly and made me feel at home. The location is perfect, right near the central station, which makes it easy to explore Vienna. Plus, it was the Christmas season, i felt in love with the city!❄️ Recommended!

I had a great time the A&the hostel! The tasks were very simple, straight forward and they were not very demanding. They stick to the schedule 5 hours a day, 5 days a week so I got plenty of time to see the city. The management is very well-organized, they provide the weekly shift schedule a week in advance, making it much easier to plan and organize your time. The staff members are incredibly friendly and always happy to offer guidance and support whenever needed. Overall, it has been a pleasure to be able to volunteer in this hostel, so I would definitely recommend the experience! ❤️

I really enjoyed volunteering with the A&the hostel's team. I was allocated at the reception and bar. The workload is fair. You have the chance to learn from the barista how to make cocktails and learning the local language talking to guests. A delicious breakfast is included and often lunch and dinner. Thank you to Lucas for the support all along my staying and to all staff members. I would definitely recommend it! 😊

I was very wellcomed by everyone! A good, safe and warm place to stay! As always, keep in mind to collaborate, be proactive, keeping clear/solved all the respective doubts/uncertainties! During your stay/collaborations, make sure to understand the volunteer's duties/tasks and its procedures – in a way to be able to do it autonomously afterwards. Wise experiences to all of us🙏💪🚀💫...cheers✌️

Everything went really well. The place is well-located in the city, making it easy to get around and explore. They have various shifts and simple tasks that are distributed among the volunteers, and they provide great flexibility to adapt to your schedule. In my case, besides the regular tasks, I also had the opportunity to paint some murals during the last weeks, which was an amazing experience. The team provided everything I needed, and excellent communication with Paul and Lucas. It has been a real pleasure, a fantastic experience, and I would like to comeback!

If you need a free place to stay, this is acceptable though the manager of the Worldpackers, Lucas, is difficult to deal with. Both the volunteer and paid teams encountered significant problems with his management. While some aspects of the program may improve, I don't see this changing. The initial problem; I was scheduled to work for 9 days in a row. When I raised it with Lucas an extremely poor excuse was given that made absolutely no sense. I discussed it with Paul, and the issue was quickly fixed. I did find it interesting learning some bartending from the lovely people on bar shift

Shanky el administrador es alguien muy amable que siempre está atento a tus necesidades, por lo que puedes hablar con el sin problemas. Volvería absolutamente a repetir la experiencia
