I had a great time the A&the hostel! The tasks were very simple, straight forward and they were not very demanding. They stick to the schedule 5 hours a day, 5 days a week so I got plenty of time to see the city. The management is very well-organized, they provide the weekly shift schedule a week in advance, making it much easier to plan and organize your time. The staff members are incredibly friendly and always happy to offer guidance and support whenever needed. Overall, it has been a pleasure to be able to volunteer in this hostel, so I would definitely recommend the experience! ❤️

I really enjoyed volunteering with the A&the hostel's team. I was allocated at the reception and bar. The workload is fair. You have the chance to learn from the barista how to make cocktails and learning the local language talking to guests. A delicious breakfast is included and often lunch and dinner. Thank you to Lucas for the support all along my staying and to all staff members. I would definitely recommend it! 😊

I was very wellcomed by everyone! A good, safe and warm place to stay! As always, keep in mind to collaborate, be proactive, keeping clear/solved all the respective doubts/uncertainties! During your stay/collaborations, make sure to understand the volunteer's duties/tasks and its procedures – in a way to be able to do it autonomously afterwards. Everything went really well. The place is well-located in the city, making it easy to get around and explore. They have various shifts and simple tasks that are distributed among the volunteers, and they provide great flexibility to adapt to your schedule. In my case, besides the regular tasks, I also had the opportunity to paint some murals during the last weeks, which was an amazing experience. The team provided everything I needed, and excellent communication with Paul and Lucas. It has been a real pleasure, a fantastic experience, and I would like to comeback!

If you need a free place to stay, this is acceptable though the manager of the Worldpackers, Lucas, is difficult to deal with. Both the volunteer and paid teams encountered significant problems with his management. While some aspects of the program may improve, I don't see this changing. The initial problem; I was scheduled to work for 9 days in a row. When I raised it with Lucas an extremely poor excuse was given that made absolutely no sense. I discussed it with Paul, and the issue was quickly fixed. I did find it interesting learning some bartending from the lovely people on bar shift

Shanky el administrador es alguien muy amable que siempre está atento a tus necesidades, por lo que puedes hablar con el sin problemas. Volvería absolutamente a repetir la experiencia

As horas são respeitadas, o quarto é exclusivo para os voluntários. Temos todas as refeições durante a semana e pelo menos o café da manhã aos fins de semana. É um hotel e não um hostel, então não tem a mesma socialização, mas os funcionários são ótimos e fiz boas amizades. Precisei sair mais cedo e eles foram super compreensíveis.

É um bom lugar para ter como base em Viena, só não recomendo ir em agosto, eles não recebem grupos de hóspedes e com isso não tem jantar (o que fazia parte do programa Worldpackers) e isso me decepcionou bastante.. trabalhar com os meninos eram ótimo, infelizmente não posso dizer os mesmo de algumas das meninas da cozinha.. no geral foi uma boa experiência!

El hostel es muy lindo. Parece un barrio de la cantidad de habitaciones que tiene. Comodo y practico. Los huéspedes son muy atentos a veces y medio malos otras, pero nada terrible. Hay mucho contacto con ellos. La comida muyy rica. Los anfitriones y la gente del staff te da mucha libertad en general

Tremenda experiencia tuve en el hostel & o. Siento que llegue aquí solo y me estoy yendo con un montón de nuevos amigos de diferentes partes del mundo. La gente que trabaja en el hostel es muy buena onda y muy sociable, siempre abiertos a compartir buenos momentos. Mención especial para Lucas, quien siempre está abierto al diálogo y a la escucha para hacer que los voluntarios se sientan cómodos, nunca fue un problema cambiar de turno o pedirle que me deje en el que estaba haciendo, siempre se respetaron los horarios y los días acordados.
