My experience as a volunteer at A&the hostel was great! The staff and other volunteers were very friendly. I met many good people there. They tried to respect our privacy and relaxation :) The food they provided and the share room were also good. On weekends, the food serving time was different depending on the guest reservation, sometimes it wasn't served at all, so I had to check the meal serving time on weekends, it was inconvenient. It was ideal to work like 5 hours a day, 5days a week but sometimes it's very tiring bc there was a lot of guests. Overall, I would say that I was satisfied.

It was a good experience. You need to understand that they give you 3 times of food the majority of days the hostel decent share room but the 5 hours per day you have to do are really a job. The majority of the volunteers I met there were incredible and we respected the privacy, silence and time of the others. The Worldpackers program is good, but the management of the Hostel is very deficient, the staff do whatever they want to, it doesn't exist a way to blend the volunteers with the staff and the customer services of the staff is not always the best one.

It was a very nice experience over all! There's not much choice/diversity with shifts because they have more need to have volunteers on specific shifts, like for breakfast or dinner, and not as much in reception and bar, but they were easy, just 5 hours and left plenty of time to explore the city and do other activities! Room and food was all okay, it's a big place and staff team so it's not one of those places that creates the "family environment" but the interaction with guests and social events they have on some days were very cool!

I had an incredible experience at a&o! Both the city and the accommodation far exceeded my expectations. The tasks were super manageable, partly thanks to the helpful staff and friendly guests . Honestly, my favorite part of the experience was connecting with people from all over the world and getting to know at least a small part of their stories As for the city, Vienna is packed with history and absolutely stunning to look at. And let's not forget—it's home to the best cafés in the world So, if u r looking to meet new people while diving into the local culture, make sure to check out a&o!

El hostel es muy lindo. Parece un barrio de la cantidad de habitaciones que tiene. Comodo y practico. Los huéspedes son muy atentos a veces y medio malos otras, pero nada terrible. Hay mucho contacto con ellos. La comida muyy rica. Los anfitriones y la gente del staff te da mucha libertad en general

It's a big company and they are new with volunteers. Despite the host, it was a good experience. He was fired in my second week, so probably things have gone better since then. The group of volunteers is small, but you can work with different groups of people every day. The food is good, sometimes you have 3 meals daily, but others just breakfast. It's random cause depends on the guests.

What an amazing experience I had at a&o! The hostel conditions are great, the food delicious and it's located next to the main train station, making it easy to move around the city and explore other countries. The thing I loved most about the hostel is how young and international the team is. The reception/bar staff were simply amazing and I had the best time working with them. Schedules were respected and shifts were super fun (best part of my stay). If you're looking for a place to make lifelong connections, this is the one! It exceeded all my expectations and I couldn't recommend it more!

My experience at A&the hostel was amazing! The working hours were not too demanding and were incredibly fun. I helped out at the bar and reception, and sometimes i stayed longer just because i wanted too! The hostel itself is very welcoming, with various games and good food. I met so many international people, including guests, other volunteers, and staff members, all of them were super friendly and made me feel at home. The location is perfect, right near the central station, which makes it easy to explore Vienna. Plus, it was the Christmas season, i felt in love with the city!❄️ Recommended!

I had a great time the A&the hostel! The tasks were very simple, straight forward and they were not very demanding. They stick to the schedule 5 hours a day, 5 days a week so I got plenty of time to see the city. The management is very well-organized, they provide the weekly shift schedule a week in advance, making it much easier to plan and organize your time. The staff members are incredibly friendly and always happy to offer guidance and support whenever needed. Overall, it has been a pleasure to be able to volunteer in this hostel, so I would definitely recommend the experience! ❤️

Tremenda experiencia tuve en el hostel & o. Siento que llegue aquí solo y me estoy yendo con un montón de nuevos amigos de diferentes partes del mundo. La gente que trabaja en el hostel es muy buena onda y muy sociable, siempre abiertos a compartir buenos momentos. Mención especial para Lucas, quien siempre está abierto al diálogo y a la escucha para hacer que los voluntarios se sientan cómodos, nunca fue un problema cambiar de turno o pedirle que me deje en el que estaba haciendo, siempre se respetaron los horarios y los días acordados.
