Se respetaron las horas de trabajo, no fue un trabajo exigente. Me tocó ayudar en la cocina y mis tareas eran controlar en la entrada,, limpiar mesas y ayudar al personal. La ubicación del hostel y la distribución de horas me permitió recorrer toda la ciudad. La habitación estaba bien, eramos 4 voluntarios en la habitación. Pudimos lavar ropa y disfrutar de desayunos, almuerzos y cenas muy completos.

Mi experiencia fue muy buena. Las horas de trabajo y días de descanso fueron respetados. El alojamiento coincide con las foto, se encuentra en un lugar estratégico y la comida es buena. El anfitrion se mostró siempre predispuesto a las distintas solicitudes que le hicimos y nos dio una buena bienvenida. Absolutamente recomiendo este voluntariado.

I really enjoyed volunteering with the A&the hostel's team. I was allocated at the reception and bar. The workload is fair. You have the chance to learn from the barista how to make cocktails and learning the local language talking to guests. A delicious breakfast is included and often lunch and dinner. Thank you to Lucas for the support all along my staying and to all staff members. I would definitely recommend it! 😊

I was very wellcomed by everyone! A good, safe and warm place to stay! As always, keep in mind to collaborate, be proactive, keeping clear/solved all the respective doubts/uncertainties! During your stay/collaborations, make sure to understand the volunteer's duties/tasks and its procedures – in a way to be able to do it autonomously afterwards. Wise experiences to all of us🙏💪🚀💫...cheers✌️

Everything went really well. The place is well-located in the city, making it easy to get around and explore. They have various shifts and simple tasks that are distributed among the volunteers, and they provide great flexibility to adapt to your schedule. In my case, besides the regular tasks, I also had the opportunity to paint some murals during the last weeks, which was an amazing experience. The team provided everything I needed, and excellent communication with Paul and Lucas. It has been a real pleasure, a fantastic experience, and I would like to comeback!

Mi experiencia fue bastante mala y fue una de las razones por las que me fui antes. La organización del anfitrión no es buena, su trato a los huéspedes deja mucho que desear, nos exige como voluntarios una conducta excelente pero él mismo no es capaz de cumplir con eso. Solo estuve en el turno de recepción, ocho días seguidos de trabajo sin un día de descanso, algunos trabajadores son amables, otros no. Desde el principio no me dejaron las tareas claras y veía molestias por su parte por no saber hacer mi supuesto trabajo. Tuve experiencias malas en recepción y nadie me ayudó con eso.

If you need a free place to stay, this is acceptable though the manager of the Worldpackers, Lucas, is difficult to deal with. Both the volunteer and paid teams encountered significant problems with his management. While some aspects of the program may improve, I don't see this changing. The initial problem; I was scheduled to work for 9 days in a row. When I raised it with Lucas an extremely poor excuse was given that made absolutely no sense. I discussed it with Paul, and the issue was quickly fixed. I did find it interesting learning some bartending from the lovely people on bar shift

Mi experiencia no fue tan positiva como esperaba. Desde el inicio, la actitud de algunos trabajadores no me hizo sentir bienvenida, al contrario, como una molestia constante, 0 disposición a guiarte o enseñarte. El mánager de WP no mostró empatía ni interés por el bienestar del equipo, únicamente resultados. Realicé 2 turnos diferentes: Cocina, que fue el peor ya que el ambiente era realmente incómodo y en ocasiones irrespetuoso, y Recepción/bar donde sí encontré buenos compañeros. La organización en general es deficiente, no es un buen lugar si buscas aprender o vienes por la experiencia.
