The Experience

Our project is an initiative to create a space for humans to coexist with nature on a 3-acre plot of land. It starts with the restoration of degraded land, returning it to a forest once again. This will be a food forest, featuring over 300 edible plant species alongside naturally occurring trees, ensuring genetic diversity. The forest is designed to have interrelated ecological relationships.

This has been one of my favorite volunteering experiences! while there wasn't much work to do, isara taught me so much about meditation and thai culture. i spent some time with the neighbors and learned a lot there too. if you want to do certain things you can definitely advocate for yourself because they just want you to have a good time! i'm going to miss all of the cuddly animals and the beautiful the project. thank you for such a memorable experience, Net and Isara😊

I had a lovely time with Piriya and his father Isara. They were super welcoming and accommodating and made sure I was comfortable. This volunteering experience is a great opportunity to experience local Thai culture without any tourism, just a lovely community working together. You live right in the project! There wasn't a lot of work; there were a few things to do, but the daily workload was minimal. Instead you get about meditation by Isara, along with how the project works and can be improved. All in all it was a great experience!

It has been a beautiful and enriching experience. Each of the people I met there, all the things I learned to do, also having the opportunity to teach how to weave mandalas, decorate the little house I was at. I feel infinitely grateful to have had the privilege of being in that beautiful place with such beautiful people. Listening to the infinite sounds of the animals there. Practising walking meditation. Isara felt like a father, always attentive, teaching. Piriya like a brother who cooks delicious the project. They are exceptional human beings.

Had such a great time here with Isara and Piriya. They were both very kind and supported me the whole time. I was able to immerse myself in some very rich and authentic culture which was Lovley. They also made my time very fun with plenty of activities and things to do! Another thing that was great here was the project, my dietary restrictions were extremely taken care of and the meals were delicious. The clay house i stayed in was also very comfortable, nice and private and a Lovley bathroom! I can definitely say i thoroughly enjoyed my time here, was a great experience.

The experience with Isara was very good. He taught us a little meditation and living in the present. Unfortunately, we were sick the 5 days we were there and couldn't do many things. Despite that, Isara was very understanding with our situation and we were able to rest those days. He was always asking how we felt, giving us support and brought us the project to the room. We are very grateful for this gesture, Isara is a very good person.We hope to be able to return in the future and do more things for this project. Also thank you to Net, he was really comunicative :)
