I had a fantastic stay at Emily's hotel! The coastal town of Himarë is incredibly beautiful—peaceful and not too crowded with tourists. The work was easy since the hotel doesn't have many rooms. We volunteers were left to organize the shifts among ourselves, which i apreciated. Our rooms had a fridge, private bathroom, and access to a kitchen, plus Sokrati provided basic groceries. Breakfast and lunch were made for us by the lovely housekeeper, Notche. Communication wasn't always easy due to the language barrier, but we managed. Overall a great experience - i would love to come back!

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Emily's Hotel! Himara is a beautiful town, and the location of the hotel couldn't be better, right in front of the sea, with stunning sunset views every evening. The tasks were fair and Sokrati was always available to help with anything we needed. Our bedroom was super comfortable, and we had delicious meals every day, thanks to Noche's cooking! I truly recommend this place to any volunteer looking for a chill spot at the beach.

I've loved my experience here volunteering at Emily's! This was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. The host Sokrati is very friendly and makes sure the stay is comfortable and enjoyable! The work is pretty straightforward and fair while the hotel is steps from the sea! I will miss Emily's so much & would recommend this opportunity to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Albania. Faleminderit shumë Sokrati!

Spending one month working at Emily's Hotel was one of the best experiences of my travels. The Hotel is in the most amazing location on a stunning beach, and the volunteer room and amenities are all really nice. Sokrati was a wonderful host. He was very generous and kind, always making sure we felt comfortable and had lots of food. The hotel also has the sweetest cleaner noce, who made us delicious meals. The work itself is super straight forward and the hours are very respected. It felt like home away from home and I already miss it. Thanks so much Sokrati, I can't wait to come back!

Himare is a beautiful coastal town. I had such a lovely experience with the other volunteers - there's typically 2-3 of you there at one time. There is other staff members who clean and cook and Noce is an amazing cook. The work was extremely simple and there was plenty of time for you to do your own thing. Sokrati is a very generous person and always tried to make us comfortable and help if we needed something. However, sometimes communication was tricky and we would be contacted outside of our reception hours like at 9pm. If you want to relax by the beach, Himare is the place for you.

I had an amazing time at Emily's Hotel. The job itself is super easy, giving you plenty of time to do read, journal, etc. The shifts go quick, allowing you to enjoy yourself in beautiful Himara. You're just steps away from the beautiful beach. Thank you to Sokrati, as he is a very generous host, taking us to dinner, ice cream and drinks some nights. Noce, the housekeeper is an amazing cook as well and is the sweetest. I truly had a lovely time. Himara is full of international volunteers so I was also able to make a lot of friends during my time there!

Would recommend! I spent two awesome and relaxing weeks at Emily's Hotel. I couldn't have asked for a more generous and caring host for my first WorldPackers experience. The tasks were really easy, the hours were respected, the room was cozy and I felt great during my entire stay. Communication was sometimes a challenge because of the language barrier but we always managed to understand eachother. Also, the city is really quiet so the main attraction is the beaches. Peak summer tourist season offers probably more entertainment. Thanks again Sokrati:)

I had an amazing time at Emily's hotel! It is a beautiful hotel literally on the beach, Sokrati is very kind and generous and makes you feel at home, and the receptionist job is really easy and chill! Himare is a small beach town, and has amazing clear water, so if you want to relax and be at the beach this is the perfect opportunity!

The location right on the beach was beautiful, in an area that wasn't too crowded but still close enough to the center. The cleaning staff was very kind and nice, and Noce cooked delicious meals. The tasks were very easy, just checking guests in and out. Hours and meals were respected. Unfortunately on the first 5 minutes of my first shift, before I had even one conversation with the host, he told me I could only stay 10 days instead of 25. So after taking almost 2 days to arrive there, I had to spend my days rushing to find another host instead of enjoying my experience in this beautiful town

I was the first volunteer at the hotel and I had a beautiful experience! the hotel is so beautiful right in front of the beach you get to see the most beautiful sunsets, the accomodation provided was one of the best I've had very comfortable and clean, The owner Sokrati it's such a hard working and a very nice host, he always made sure I had good food and I was feeling alright and comfortable, Sokrati treats the volunteers and the guests like family he is such a good owner, always making everyone feel at home, this place is the best hotel in himarë! I wish them all the best.
