My time at Emily's Hotel was incredible. The tasks were easy and the shifts were respected. Sokrati, the host, is very helpful and is always available to answer questions or requests. The place is right on the beach, and we could hear the ocean 24/7. The food Noche cooked was delicious and she is a sweetheart. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone who loves the beach and wants to live peacefully for a few weeks.

I had an amazing time at Emily's Hotel. It is beautifully located right at the beach, where you have an amazing view on the sunset every evening. The work is very chill and easy. I either worked in the morning (9 am - 2 pm) or in the afternoon (2 pm - 7 pm) and had plenty of time to enjoy the beach or visit places around. Sokrati is very generous and tries his best to make you feel at home. I had an injury towards the end of my time in Himarë and he let me stay a couple more days than what we had agreed on, even though he had enough volunteers there to cover the working shifts.

A very relaxed volunteer experience, perfect for if you've been on the road for a while and want to chill out. Himarë is absolutely beautiful, I never got bored of the crystal clear water and mountains surrounding the small seaside town. The work was simple and gave me time to do life admin and ticks some things off my ever growing to do list. Sokrati looked after us well, providing good accommodation and always bringing us food. Noce, the housekeeper was really lovely and I will bring her warm spirit with me. Thank you for having me, I really enjoyed my time here!

My time at Emily's Hotel was amazing! The hotel is literally on the beach and the view is incredible. Sokrati is a great host, easygoing and communicates really well. The volunteers' room is very comfortable and the shifts are well organized. Since the hotel doesn't have many rooms, the work is simple — 5 hour shifts at the reception doing check-ins and check-outs. After that, you have the whole day free to enjoy this paradise that is Himare. I came here to relax and this volunteering experience completely fulfilled my goal. I highly recommend this volunteering and I hope to come back again!

My time at Emily's hotel was an amazing opportunity to meet fellow travellers, experience Albanian culture and enjoy the beautiful coast of Himare. The work was extremely easy and straight forward, hours were respected. The thing that could be improved is having access to the kitchen!

I had a fantastic stay at Emily's hotel! The coastal town of Himarë is incredibly beautiful—peaceful and not too crowded with tourists. The work was easy since the hotel doesn't have many rooms. We volunteers were left to organize the shifts among ourselves, which i apreciated. Our rooms had a fridge, private bathroom, and access to a kitchen, plus Sokrati provided basic groceries. Breakfast and lunch were made for us by the lovely housekeeper, Notche. Communication wasn't always easy due to the language barrier, but we managed. Overall a great experience - i would love to come back!

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Emily's Hotel! Himara is a beautiful town, and the location of the hotel couldn't be better, right in front of the sea, with stunning sunset views every evening. The tasks were fair and Sokrati was always available to help with anything we needed. Our bedroom was super comfortable, and we had delicious meals every day, thanks to Noche's cooking! I truly recommend this place to any volunteer looking for a chill spot at the beach.

I've loved my experience here volunteering at Emily's! This was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. The host Sokrati is very friendly and makes sure the stay is comfortable and enjoyable! The work is pretty straightforward and fair while the hotel is steps from the sea! I will miss Emily's so much & would recommend this opportunity to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Albania. Faleminderit shumë Sokrati!
