Overall I had a good time in Hanoi with the school. The work and also the schedule can be a bit disorganised sometimes and for me personally, it was very hard handeling the children since they are in groups of 5/6 usually. The Host has staff to help you with that but I still found it very stressful. Maybe it just wasn't for me. The apartment was also really dirty and the beds could be a bit more comfortable but as far as I understood, it is the volunteers responsibility to keep the place clean, so it's not really the hosts fault. I really enjoyed the overall friendly environment :)

Thank you Celina, for the work and schedule, i think they are very clear since everyonee has their own schedule and we sent u and the others teaching instruction and program which is very clear (if you said not clear i dont think you read them), so far all volunteers i had and have are happy with the schedule and teaching instruction even they are not professional teacher. For the apartment, yes need to improve since we have different peopke from different countries, lifestyles and we improving.

I left early because the work was disorganized, I should have made videos for their social medias but the host already has a marketing team, also it was not the job I was expecting to do. Moreover, the apartment is dirty, I get that is the volunteer's responsibility but when I went to buy the cleaning supplies for the house, the host told me I was exceeding the weekly budget. Also there is a weekly budget for the food and supplies that the volunteers can buy, which is 10€ per week and it is not enough in my opinion. I must say that I left when we brought up the problem, idk the situation now

i explained to you exactly what u needs to do, even i have someone for that but they have their own job, u had your own job to do with different type of video, you cannot complain that, even i sent u the example of the video, but u just dont do it without any explaination. Second, the apartment that time was a bit messed up because of the volunteers, the way they lived, so people need to tell me as i told everyone on the first day. Third, we changed the budge because we are adults, can talk.

The school has a lot of various classes with students ranging from 5 to adults. You have a lot of freedom to teach the classes however you may please you receive files and books to help you prepare. You get a schedule from the get go but you should be flexible as classes do have a tendency to change. You'll meet lots of international people who are all very likeminded.

This was my first volunteer experience, I found a welcoming environment and I received support when I needed it. Despite his busy schedule, Hung is always responsive and available. The school is located about 40 minutes from the center of Hanoi, which allowed me to immerse myself even more in the local culture in a more peaceful environment. I also really enjoyed the fact that there were multiple activities we could join like hikes or vietnamise classes. The only improvement that I may suggest concerns the apartment: extra stove, kettle and more comfortable beds. Overall I had a great time!

I had an amazing 6 weeks at the school! The apartment and its location are great, close to the school and the city center and you get along really quickly with the other volunteers. I loved having free time during the weekends to do trips outside the city and there are usually social gatherings at various pubs and restaurants during the week. Although I didn't have a previous teaching experience, I found it really easy to pick up and got to know some of my students really well. Hung is an amazing host, always available to help and communicative. Can't wait to come back in March!

Hung is an amazing host with a really great school. It is easy to see that he really cares about the children and volunteers. The kids we teach are really sweet. Their proficiency in english varies, but many of them are engaged and ready to learn. You can play fun games with them, like flash cards, Simon says, etc. Hung also organizes hikes together on the weekends, which is an amazing experience.

My experience at the school has been awesome✨ Learning about a new country and a new profession at the same time was a challenge for me, but I felt really comfortable and actually like at home from the first day thanks to the help and the welcome I received from everyone. Very lucky to meet all the people from the academy and to share my experience with all the volunteers who have been there at the same time as me💛 Cảm ơn for the opportunity, this is not goodbye anyway😉🥰

My experience at the school was incredible! Everything was as previously accorded. I felt really welcomed by the team, Hung and Minnie, and the other volunteers. The facilities are really good. The classes are previously organised for you, with only a few students in each class, which makes it pretty easy. If you also wish to explore this beautiful country, this volunteer is perfect! The schedule allows you to go to the city center before the classes or travel on the weekends. Some activities are also organised for the volunteers. I will never forget this experience!

My experience at the school was just great! I stayed for a month and Hung is a really warm, attentive and committed host. The schedule is really cool because you have free time for a big part of the day and also the weekends. The classes are mainly in the evenings, and for me I had an average of 2 hours a day, which leaves plenty of time to enjoy the city :) I've taught English to groups of very young and lovely kids and and I'll always keep memories of them. Live in a flat with other volunteers was also amazing ! Thank you Hung, Minnie and the whole the school team ☀️

I absolutely loved my time at the school. It was my first trip alone as a girl and I have nothing to regret. Hung was amazing, he always listened to you and tried to help you in any way possible. He was really welcoming and funny. The apartment was great (boys and girls had their separate rooms) it was right next to the office, so you only had to walk a minute. You have lunch together at the office which was really nice bc everyone was there and you talk about everything and anything. For dinner/weekends you just buy groceries and send the receipt to Hung. Great time, awesome people :))
