The experience I was lucky enough to have was magnificent. Not only was I able to encounter a place above all expectations, but to welcome me I found extremely kind people (even two very sweet dogs and cuddly sheep) who integrated me as if I were family, teaching me all round the slow and simple Chilote life, with full respect for nature and its inhabitants. A part of me will always remain attached to this place. The working and emotional cooperation was wonderful. Moreover, I was able to continue my service thanks to the willingness and openness of the hosts. Thank you with all my heart!

I can't say that I would recommend this experience to a solo female traveler. I enjoyed the work maintaining the land and caring for the sheep but I struggled to connect with most other volunteers and the hosts as their priority is the restaurant and they spend the days there. There is a kitchen with limited food provided. There is a set schedule for working hours which isn't necessarily bad but was not communicated to me prior to arrival. Javier was great to work with and was patient with me. Unfortunately I did not feel comfortable here despite it being a beautiful place.

Zephyr was an excellent worker.
Unfortunately, due to lack of communication on her part, she had a problem with another volunteer and that is why she felt unsafe. She never told us anything so of course we couldn't help her.
Our house, town and island are very safe. 80% of our volunteers are women traveling alone and they leave grateful for the experience.
And regarding food, we ask each volunteer to make a weekly food list and what is request is delivered to them.

Mi experiencia como voluntario fue muy buena. Los anfitriones siempre se preocuparon por nuestra comodidad, la casa de los voluntarios era encantadora y toda la comida deliciosa. Las tareas fueron fáciles y aprendí muchísimo. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

Mi estadía en la granja con Paz y Rodolfo fue una experiencia preciosa. Son personas increíblemente amables, generosas y acogedoras. Desde el primer día me hicieron sentir como en casa. El lugar transmite una paz indescriptible y permite disfrutar de la naturaleza y de momentos simples pero muy significativos. Las tareas fueron variadas y enriquecedoras, y cada día estaba lleno de aprendizajes. Aprendí, compartí y me llevé recuerdos que guardaré con mucho cariño. Gracias por abrirme las puertas de su hogar y corazón. Recomiendo totalmente esta experiencia.

Fue una muy linda experiencia! Paz y Rodolfo son muy amorosos y comprensivos! La casa súper cómoda y los alrededores con hermosas vistas. Conocí personas que me llevo en el corazón<3 Se armó un muy lindo equipo. En cuanto al trabajo, el horario fue respetado. La comida del restaurante muy rica!
