Description

At your arrival you are expected to pay a 200 euros deposit which will be payed back after your depature. The deposit is for our safety and possible damages

The Experience

At our Ranch we have 15 dogs. 4 cats, 2 horses, minipigs, chicken and goats. As you can imagine all of these animals demand a lot of attention and care. We are looking for 3 to 4 volunteers who love animals and who ideally have some expirience with animals. The accomadiation is a pretty apartement in Calatabiano which is a 15 min bike ride from the Ranch. It has a bathroom and a kitchen with the basic appliances. Fridge, kettle and sink

I had a good time at the farm. I was here for one month and it was my first experience with Worldpackers. the farm is nice with the view on the Etna. The work with the dogs is also nice and not that hard, they are such cuties. I enjoyed my stay with Natalie (and especially the Pasta Norma she made). It was a nice first experience and we had everything we need. She also respects totally our work and free time. I can really recommend this place if you want to work with the animals and live the farm life.

We spent 2 1/2 months and now 1 Month again at Natalies and Agustinos and I had a great time. We were always a team of around 4 people. The work was fun and we often had enough time to bond with the animals. For me it never got boring, but if your are not someone who enjoys having a routine and are not okay with picking up poo everyday this place is not for you. Since working with animals is not always predictible, some days might get more stressfull then others. I most enjoyed lunchtime and listening to Natalies stories and eating her delicious cooking. Thank you for the great time:).
