My 1st experience: costly & disappointing due to the host's dishonesty. He promised a private room, 3 meals, internet & learning, but NONE was true. He changed plans last minute—shared room, no internet, forced me to buy food & charged for petrol and stay. I was flexible with all changes, but when I sought clarification, he reacted aggressively, left me stranded in an unknown town, and never returned the 50K I paid. His operation seems a scam to profit from volunteers, Claiming he's done it b4 & doesn't manage the webpage, 0 Accountability! I expected a fair experience, but it fell far short

It was incredible being in nature and experiencing life in the mountains outside of Angelopolis. All the animals are very friendly and there are amazing viewpoints and rivers walking distance from the house. The fee is to start a beekeeping project; you will still need to buy your own food but there is a equipped kitchen to use as well as herbs and other fresh vegetables growing on the property. Thanks you again to Sébastien. If you enjoy an easy, peaceful stay in the forest I would definitely reccomend!

Sebastian was an awesome host right from the start. Communication was really good and he provided clear instructions for making our way to his place. For the days that we spent with him, it was fun to learn about his farm and hike around the area. Only thing we should have done was to clarify the inclusions of the stay at the start, as there was a bit of confusion here. But overall, good stay.

I stayed with Seb for one week and could easily have stayed more as others did, unfortunately I had work. Seb is a great guy and is really invested in the volunteers that he has staying over. He is supportive with anyone learning Spanish and takes the time to teach you. The additional fee was worth it; I'd be spending still much more if I was just travelling in hostels. Volunteering and hanging out with Seb is a more unique experience. The work was more relaxed than other volunteering. I had travelled for a year and this was a highlight, an experience fresh, exciting but relaxing. Please go!
