The Experience
Join us in breathing new life into our charming Mountain Hostel, established in 2007 and nestled within the breathtaking Tatras Mountains. After being closed for four years, we are excited to have finally reopened and welcoming guests once again. We're seeking social volunteers who enjoy being surrounded by nature and are eager to meet new interesting travelers!

The hostel is a really special place and I'd recommend this opportunity to anyone. It's in a beautiful environment which is amazing to wake up to everyday but it's the people that really make it!! Any time spent at the hostel will feel too short, it's such an incredible hostel in a beautiful corner of the world. The volunteers and guests you will meet here will be friends for life. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This was my first time volunteering, and I never imagined it would turn out so amazing. Everyone I met at this hostel was super nice I never felt for even a minute that I was away from home. They made me feel so comfortable. Fabian, the manager, is incredible. He's super friendly, and we even went on a hike together my first big hike ever! He supported me so much. Honestly, not just him, but everyone at the hostel was amazing. I'm really going to miss everything. The other volunteers Ale, Leva, Eamonn, and Tashi were all so kind and friendly. I highly recommend volunteering here!

The hostel is hands down the best hostel ever. I felt at home from the start, and the view is beautiful! The tasks are super chill, and there's plenty of time to relax or explore around. Zdiar is small and peaceful place, perfect for nature and hiking lovers. Fabian is the best manager, fun, always up for a good chat, and making sure the guests and staff are good. Everyone feels like family, whether we're walking, having dinner together, or just hanging out. Thanks for everything! I'll miss the peace and of course, Maxi, Kevin, and Bobby, the animals :) See you next time! Stay the hostel!

Could not recommend the hostel more! It really feels like a home away from home. It's in the most beautiful spot in the mountains with lots of hiking and skiing easily accessible, and the hostel provides gear if you don't have any. As a volunteer, it's the perfect balance of socializing and relaxing. In most hostels, people come and go constantly and it feels chaotic. Here, you get the chance to slow down and get to know guests in a fun but cozy environment. The work itself is pretty easy and leaves you lots of time to explore the mountains! Definitely recommend :)
