The Experience

I am looking for someone who can take care of this little cottage in Hungarian countryside, on a farm filled with art. The tasks are not difficult : cleaning, daily feeding of fishes, watering. This is a great opportunity for someone who needs some time to themselves, in a peaceful spot in nature.

The community is such an inspiering place. It has a beautiful landscape and a cute little guest house in which I stayed in. I did different tasks everyday and had enough free time to visit the next biggest town. Sasha is an excellent host whit whom you can have a great conversation. She knows a lot of local people cause of the festivals and introduced me to her friend group. Although the farm is located on the peaceful countryside, I meet a lot of new people and I improved my English skills. I am great full for Sasha giving me experience and the opportunity to visit Hungary.

Thank you for your feedback! Iliana was a hardworking volunteer, always ready to help and trying her best. Every job was done well and the place was left tidy :) Just what you want from a volunteer <3

I spent a wonderful 10 days at the community. I arrived at the beginning of one of the festivals, so there were plenty of things to do and people to interact with. Work was self-paced and organically structured, personal space was well respected. You'll be responsible for your own food, but there is a full kitchen available as well as a bike to use and a town not too far away. Sasha is a deep river and has an interesting perspective on life, greatly enjoyed getting to know her and her world. Missing the dog Kutya already.
