The Experience

We are looking for a team of volunteers interested in discovering one of the most traditional and ancient activities in Southern Italy: olive harvesting. At our farm, we harvest exclusively by hand, without the use of electric or invasive tools, just as it was done in the past, working together with simple rakes or by hand. Our land is home to 9 ancient olive trees that produce excellent oil, which you will have the chance to taste yourself!

Cesare and Valentina are my parents away from home! I had so so much fun living at the project and would wake up every morning to the most beautiful sunrises sweeping across the mountains. The work was long hours but would go by in no time and was so calming and therapeutic. Cesare is an absolute encyclopaedia of knowledge regarding permaculture, sustainability as well as anything related to the land and Valentina is the best chef in the whole world!! We were never hungry and always ate local & healthy produce! I can't wait to come back soon and meet the baby!! I love you guys so much đź©·

Valentina and Cesare are very loving, caring and dear hosts. They made me feel at home, they cooked wonderful food and we went to beautiful waterfalls. the house is 2km from the project, which is still being built and will be very beautiful. It was a pleasure meeting you and know that you can always count on me. I hope it won't be long before we meet again. ♥️ thank you for everything!!!!
