This was my first volunteering experience with Worldpackers and it was unforgettable! Elisabeth and Henriett were so warm and welcoming, the work hours were always respected, and I even got to make Norwegian waffles and souvas wraps in the kitchen. I loved meeting other volunteers from all over the world, engaging with locals, and learning about Sami traditions while enjoying the cozy lavuu fireplace. The peaceful nature, hikes with friends, and the chance to see the magical Aurora Borealis made it even more special—I highly recommend spending your summer here!

The camping is owned by a welcoming Sami family who made us feel at home with friendly atmosphere and respectful approach. Work hours were very flexible as well as the tasks with no hard work involved. the camping is surrounded by true nature jewels and untouched wilderness. We were able to reach most of it by using a car borrowed from the family. I recommend this volunteering opportunity to anyone looking for abreaction from everyday life, meeting new people and spending time in peaceful environment.

I've had a wonderful time here in the camping. The hosts were very kind and welcoming from beginning to end. Working hours and work amounts were very chill and flexible with plenty of free time to rest or to discover both close surroundings and further locations, thanks to the possibility of borrowing a car. There's countless hiking trails all around with beautiful views. It was very nice meeting the locals, beeing able to discover how life works around here and learn about the Sami culture. Everyone together made the place truly feel like a second home.

Volounteering at the camping allows you to experience a very special corner of the world that you could otherwise miss. The place is run by a family of Sami origins that is extremely welcoming. Gunn is a kind and caring host, and I can promise to anyone reading this that they will feel at home here, or even better. Work hours are respected, and extremely flexible, without any type of micromanagement. We had the opportunity to go hiking using the owner's car, and we often used the sauna during the nights. I think it's challenging to find a better volounteering than this in Norway.

I wish I had more time to spend here in the camping. Gunn Eliziabeth and her family were very welcoming and accommodating. I learned so much about Sami culture and customs. The group of volunteers here was just as amazing and welcoming. The tasks were different and fun every day. Most of the time, you are never alone, as you work alongside other volunteers. The midnight sun was breathtaking, and the overall atmosphere here is unmatched. I will say if you are here for the summer, please bring bug spray, the mosquitoes can be a little overwhelming 😅.
