The Experience

Activities at our accomodations will change regarding what there is here to do. Main tasks will be housekeeping and maintenance but in the times with nothing to do volunteers will be asked to make other chores like gardening etc We expect volunteers to be connected to our project and to help us improving our offers and accomodation :) We expect people that really want to come and give a helping hand and not people that just look for free vacation

Lorenzo was really nice and the hostel is a nice place to visit. The work itself isn't hard but what I struggled with was the lack of structure for my 5 hours volunteering. There was no start and Finnish time given till the day and I was told my day off on the day so I didn't have time to prepare. For me it would have been greater with structure and preparation. Also you don't get dorms to sleep in, it was either a tent outside or a mattress on his floor. I feel like it's a bit misleading on the world packers app.

Agradezco a Lourenço por la nueva y linda experiencia y la amabilidad que siempre tuvo conmigo y con los demás. Las tareas son fáciles y se hacen rápido, hay que limpiar el hostal y ayudar con pintura, instalaciones o remodelaciones que el lugar necesita. La organización es muy mala, no hay horario ni plan. Todos los días empiezas a las 12 o 13 y terminas a las 19 entonces no alcanzas a ir a la playa o conocer el lugar. Duermes en el piso y compartes la pieza de Lourenço sin puerta,abajo en el sótano lo cual es bastante incómodo. A mi me generó ansiedad y no pude dormir bien ningún día.
