This is a really good place to get away from the city and be in nature around animals. There are three dogs and four cats and many farm animals. There is forest for hiking and exploring. Also, it is very easy to get to the city if you need to go. Juan is very kind and welcoming and he has a passion for improving the farm and living a sustainable life. He was clear about the tasks to be done and he was willing to let me do work that adapted to my background in mechanical engineering. I would definitely recommend staying here if you like nature and want to learn about living sustainability.

I had a really great time at Juan's beautiful home! I was exactly looking for this experience where you can connect yourself with nature, animals, local people and learn something new. Juan was so patient with me, as I just speak a tiny bit Spanish, and explained to me how he is living permaculture and what it actually means. The tasks varied daily from preparing hay, feeding the animals, painting the cabana and preparing the color with local cactus, taking new pictures for his online business… I enjoyed helping and living here and Juan made it a great experience !

The place the project is very beautiful, with lots of plants. Juan Carlos was very attentive. It was a little hard for me as I got sick with a bad flue, but he tried to help me. Even I would have liked to learn and be more in contact with earth, and more tasks related with harvesting. He asked me to help with his Airbnb, which was ok. I love the three dogs Pachuco, Heidi and Michi, they are so lovely. I think it can be improve just the place to staying. But the surrounds of forest are very pretty as well.

From the first moment I felt welcomed like at home. When I arrived was late and I had not had the opportunity to buy dome food so every day Juan, the owner, shared meals with me, and we cooking delicious things together! I helped Juan feed the ducks, chickens, rabbits, fishes and to improve his online profiles. I learned that everything that is waste for me, is food for something else and that nature lives in a wonderful cycle of which we are part. I received so much love from all the dogs and cats here. It is an experience that I recommend to everyone at least once in their life.
