The Experience

We are a family located in rural Suffolk. We have a house and property dating back to the 1640's. At one stage it was a local Inn (pub) ! So it’s full of character and history. We are a family of 5, with 3 children. We have ponies, chickens, guinea pigs, 2 dog and a cat ! It's a busy life, but we live healthily, enjoying growing our own produce and maintaining a wild ecosystem. Lots of outdoor work and separate house provided. Couple preferred

My partner Santiago and I had the chance to volunteer at James and family's home, and it was a memorable experience. Right from the start, they made us feel at home. The house itself is of a storybook—warm, cozy, and full of charm. The tasks were varied, mostly painting and gathering firewood. The family was always kind and made sure we felt comfortable with everything we did. The surroundings are stunning, and spending time in such a peaceful place was a real treat. We recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fulfilling and enjoyable volunteering opportunity.
