My time at the camping was truly the highlight of my journey in Malaysia. I felt like part of a family from day one. Working in nature with easy tasks, good living conditions. Huge thanks to Ja for being so supportive and taking care of me. Thanks to the staff team Jodi, Dilu, and Jubar for guiding me through the work and for the delicious spicy food. Also thanks to the reception girls, Mas and Azi, for the great conversations, and all the memories we shared together. Thanks to the boss, Elmi for creating a magical space. I'll come back to visit again. Highly recommend on Worldpackers.

This is a great experience to slow down a little, connect with locals and immerse in nature. The host, management and rest of the team are all funny, welcoming, and generous! You will be looked after and treated respectfully by everyone. the camping retreat is beautiful and the guests it attracts are always a pleasure to attend to. Do remember to pack mosquito spray and some extra layers!

I truly enjoyed my time in the camping! Aside from the beautiful hosts and staff, the camping site itself is a great place to relax. It is also near restaurants and a trail, and also a quick 15 min to town proper. I recommend staying here. Just remember to bring mosquito repellent as they have a lot of plants.

I stayed at the camping for 10 days. The place is wonderful, surrounded by nature and very well maintained. Generally they host 1 volunteer at a time to ensure a super comf private room. I felt welcomed by the family and staff from day one. Even only for a short time, I felt like part of the family. They invited me to play archery with them and we shared moments together. It's also a great opportunity to meet locals, as there are many Malaysians who come to stay there and it was interesting to chat with some of them. The tasks are simple (reception and housekeeping). Thanks again and see you all!

This was my first experience with worldpackers, and it's been amazing!!! Ja is very friendly, and I felt welcomed since the day I arrived! The work is easy, cleaning and reception. For me it was even kind of meditative. All of them are very nice, and we even went for dinner together one day! Oh, and I taught a yoga class too! The place is really beautiful, chill and relaxed. You will connect with nature here 💚. It's easy to walk to Tanah Rata, and there's a lot of places to eat or drink something nearby too.
