My experience with this hostel was my first one and it was a good start. The people who I worked with were really kind and welcoming. They were always helpful and explained patiently what to do. The work on the other hand was okay but not what I was looking for. I applied for „a kitchen hand“, when I arrived at the hostel they told me that they can't offer this type of volunteering and I would have to change to be the receptionist. So my time schedule had changed completely and kinda messed up my plans for Cartagena. There was not a lot to do but I had good company from the other workers.

Amei muito a experiência na Casa Zari, foi um lugar onde me senti acolhida. A equipe foi muito amável! O ambiente é leve e muito agradável, o que fez toda a diferença. Fiz o voluntariado na recepção e aprendi muito durante todo o tempo que estive aqui. O café da manhã é maravilhoso e o ambiente, como um todo, é encantador. Mi estadía en Casa Zahri fue espectacular. Este fue mi primer voluntariado y experiencia en recepción, así que estoy muy agradecida por la oportunidad y por todo lo que aprendí. Me recibieron de muy buena manera, especialmente el equipo de recepción, cocina y limpieza. Agradezco también a los jefes por el apoyo en las tareas que tuve que realizar y por lo que me enseñaron. El trabajo en recepción implicó una gran responsabilidad, especialmente cuando estaba sola en turno, así que es importante tener disposición a comprometerse. Por último, el desayuno es muy bueno! Y la habitación está bien

Ser voluntario en Casa Zahri fue una experiencia muy buena. Los desayunos son ricos, el staff te hace sentir cómodo desde el primer día y todo queda cerca, especialmente los lugares de fiesta en Cartagena. La barra, la arcade machine y el ambiente en general hicieron que mi estancia fuera divertida. Realmente recomiendo muuuucho este lugar!
