I loved volunteering at the lodge! Really cute rustic eco-lodge, with amazing mountain views, yoga, delicious and healthy breakfast. Always lovely people passing through, and Eva's family are wonderful. It's about a half-hour walk out of jardín, but that means it's closer to certain hiking trails and waterfalls, and the walk to town is also gorgeous (but you can easily take a tuk tuk). It's definitely helpful if you can speak both English and Spanish, as the guests are pretty international and many don't speak Spanish. Thanks everyone for a lovely Christmas and New year 🦋

The lodge Eco Lodge in Jardin is a beautiful place in Colombia. It is surrounded by wildlife, birds, providing a tranquil environment. The house and beds are comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner made by Lucrea are amazing. Eva has an open heart and is doing her best to create an environment for guests as well as working on her permaculture farm. The main issues I had were with how she communicated with me and experiencing differential negative treatment compared to other volunteers. Noticed by both guests and other volunteers. I don't think it was malicious, but it was uncomfortable at times.

Este intercambio tuvo aspectos positivos y desafiantes. Agradezco su ayuda; sin embargo, desde el inicio hubo dificultades personales de su parte, su carga laboral, situaciones de salud recurrentes y familiares, lo que generó desajustes y mayor carga para el equipo. Intenté terminar el intercambio, pero se continuó bajo acuerdos y el resultado no fue óptimo. Esta experiencia me permitió clarificar mejor los límites y acuerdos del proyecto.

Volunteering at the lodge was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend applying for it! I stayed for one month, and the atmosphere was always so friendly. The location is absolutely magical, and the people are wonderful. The family who runs the hostel and the team you work with are incredibly welcoming and kind. You'll quickly feel at home :)

Me encantó mi estadía en el alojamiento, Eva, la host del proyecto, es un amor, en general el equipo del alojamiento son personas empáticas que te hacen sentir como en casa, Alex y Germán siempre están dispuestos ayudar y pendientes en cada cosa con tal que la estadía sea una buena experiencia, las labores son muy fáciles, promueven la vida saludable y el uso adecuado de los recursos, el pueblo es hermoso, por algo es considerado uno de los más lindos de Colombia, hay mucha naturaleza cerca, puedes caminar para ir a ver las cascadas, las labores en general son muy fáciles. el alojamiento es paz y vida saludable!

Pasé un mes en el alojamiento, un lugar muy lindo y cerca de la naturaleza, el equipo es muy lindo y el desayuno de la mañana preparado todo casero es una maravilla. Gracias por todo!!
