Our time on the farm was incredible - we got to take part in so many different aspects of farm life (in the plant nursery, out on the fields themselves, in the forest, cooking with food grown on the land), and Nicolas and Zé taught us so much about agroforestry and sustainable food practices. Everyone we met was welcoming and kind, and we could communicate easily despite our limited Portuguese (speaking Spanish helped). The location is incredible and there's a lot of free time to explore/enjoy some yoga/lie in a hammock and read! We would completely recommend it, thank you so much!

O sítio é um lugar MARAVILHOSO dentro da mata Atlântica! Tive oportunidade de vivenciar uma verdadeira jornada de aprendizado e conexão com a natureza através de intensa imersão agroflorestal. O proprietário e os instrutores são receptivos e atenciosos. Nos ensinam muito mais que agrofloresta ou comida agroflorestal. Nos ensinam valores, contato com a natureza, ecologia, ecossistemas, etc. Foi uma experiência magnífica de transformação, integração, conhecimento, aprendizado e vida! Minha eterna gratidão! Foi uma experiência incrível! Uma aprendizagem enorme sobre a terra, mas principalmente conectar com ela e entender de onde tudo vem. A imersão que dá o lugar é inesquecível, além de permitir que você veja uma maneira diferente de viver, se conectar com locais e se conectar com outros que também se interessam por isso. Apenas como recomendação, fique de olho nos mosquitos. Muito feliz e grata por ter vivido esta imersão e obrigado a Aizita (a melhor host) e a toda a equipe do "Sitio" por tudo.

Es una experiencia espectacular que te permite vivir unos días de una forma muy distinta y enriquecedora. Las enseñanzas en el hacer, las comidas deliciosa y saludables, el clima de calma, consciencia y diversión que se vive en el sitio hacen del voluntariado un momento de conexión con la naturaleza y las personas (las permanentementes en el proyecto y los voluntarios que pasamos temporalmente). Los mosquitos son el único factor que, después de unos días, se hacen notar y pueden llegar joder, pero nada que opaque la estadía.

Qué lindo leer tu mensaje! Se nota que esos días fueron especiales para ti, y no podría ser diferente. Fue un placer compartir esta experiencia, aprender juntos y disfrutar de todo lo que el Sítio tiene para ofrecer. As vezes a naturaleza nos pone a prueba (como con los mosquitos 😆), pero la conexión con el lugar y las personas siempre vale la pena. Espero que en algún momento nuestros caminos se crucen otra vez. ¡Un abrazo enorme! 🌿✨
