I had an astonishing stay at the guest house! Brian is such a great human. His family is too! I got to immerse into the Taiwanese culture, learned a lot about them and their traditions. Fully grateful for the experience!

I had a great experience at this homestay. Brian and his family were very welcoming and kind. During the busy season, I helped with housekeeping in the mornings and assisted with dinner prep and serving in the evenings. The food was absolutely delicious, and the surrounding nature is stunning. The homestay is in the mountains, so it's not easy to get around without a car, but Brian kindly gave me rides when needed. It's a peaceful and relaxing place — perfect if you're looking to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the area. Highly recommended!

Brian and his family are amazing people and hosts. I was welcomed in from the very first moments and felt comfortable and at ease throughout my whole experience here. The workload is light yet challenging and there is plenty to learn. Food served is incredible, Brian is a good teacher and patient when showing the tasks and just an overall joy to be around! The location in the mountains is unmatched and one of the best travel experiences I've had!

This was my first experience volunteering and it was really remarkable. Being surrounded by a completely different language, cuisine and culture was a truly unique and amazing experience. The hours where so good, I had plenty of time to explore the local areas, made friends with the locals and was even taken out to a national park on my days off!

I came in the winter which is the low season so the job was maintenance and I mainly painted cabins. The hours are super comfortable and the work was really fun. Brian and his family are just wonderful and made me feel at home plus the meals were sooo good!!. My room was 50 meters from a beautiful creek so every sunny day i would spend there. I really had such a good time and hoping to come back again.
